As part of EMF's drive to widen participation, our Professional Volunteering Recruitment Scheme encourages professionals to lend their time, knowledge and experience to community-based organisations in needs of such skills-base. Depending on their interests and aptitudes, our volunteers are placed within suitable organisations to perform the role of trustee, advisor or committee member; they may also sit at steering groups and policy boards or serve as mentors to minority ethnic students.
