About EMF

The Ethnic Minority Foundation (EMF) is a national registered charity created to provide a secure base for Britain’s minority ethnic communities. Since its inception in 1999, EMF has worked tirelessly to identify and meet the needs of the country’s most diverse, deprived and disadvantaged individuals and groups.

What’s New

The Ethnic Minority Foundation (EMF) in partnership with the Association for Physical Education (afPE) is leading on a research project funded by the Capacitybuilders ‘Improving Reach’ grants programme to address the low percentage of Physical Education Initial Teacher Training (ITT) recruits from minority ethnic backgrounds.

EMF has recently signed up to the City of London Corporation’s Clean City Awards Scheme.

Community Assets

A key feature of EMF’s pioneering regeneration work is the building of community assets, aimed at fostering growth and long-term sustainability of Britain’s minority ethnic voluntary sector.
